Daniel Pate

Brand Ambassador. Daniel Pate is Brand Ambassador for Classic Imports Western Region. In his new role, Dan will oversee the growing Classic portfolio working with our distributor partners in California, Washington, Oregon, Alaska, Arizona, Nevada and Colorado. Dan has most recently been the Market Manager for White & MacKay in Northern California. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Florida and has completed sales certification training with E&J Gallo, Heineken and Diageo.

Gary Keimach

Senior Vice President Martignetti Companies. Gary is leading the Company’s national initiative as an importer and supplier of fine spirits for Classic Imports. He received the honor, ‘Keeper of the Quaich’ in Scotland in April 2013 in recognition for his contributions to the Scotch Whisky industry. Gary reports to ownership and has been responsible for developing and leading several internal projects and standardization efforts. Formerly part of United Liquors Ltd. senior management team, he has experience in all facets of the industry both in open and control states which include sales, supply chain, warehouse operations, and general management functions. Gary has a dual degree from The Whitman School of Management and The S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University as well as an M.B.A. from Babson College.

Director Classic Imports / Senior Brand Ambassador. Chris is an unabashed whisky devotee who also appreciates and embraces finely crafted spirits from all categories as well as good wine, food, and conversation. He joined Classic in 2011 and is currently responsible for most major markets in the Northeast and Mid-West. Chris started in the industry as a distributor sales representative before moving through progressively higher levels of management at Slocum (distributor) in North Haven. He has a B.A. in Philosophy from the College of Wooster (Ohio).

Averon Edwards

Brand Ambassador. Averon is Texas born and bred with experience at both of the major houses there, Glazer’s and Republic. He worked his way up from merchandiser to sales representative to sales manager in just nine years. Averon managed teams and brands in both the on and off premise channels of trade, particularly in the Dallas-Fort Worth market consistently exceeding expectations. He started with Classic in 2012 covering the southern United States. Averon has a B.S. in Physical Education from the University of Mary Hardin Baylor in Belton, Texas.

JOHN “LJ”  HEFFERNAN

Brand Ambassador. John’s affinity for Celtic heritage and history, coupled with his whisky knowledge, are an asset to Classic. He is currently responsible for the New York City/Metro market. John’s career in the whisky industry dates back to 1996, when he was a whisky educator for Schieffelin & Somerset. He has trained under some of the industry’s most notable authorities on the whisky-making process and tasting nuances. John has studied Marketing/Business Administration at the University of Bridgeport.
